Cameras Cut Crashes :(

Hot on the PR disaster of last week’s iSnackToo, comes a classic at my new ‘local’ camera site.

Not quite complete yet but the new camera is located to target the easy right hand turning lane that is a low accident area.
I’ve spoken to a number of businesses on ajoining corners and no-one can remember a crash of any type in the recent years.

Also the road surface for the entire intersection has had a full replacement only a couple of years ago.
Infact the work to install the cameras, cabling and road loops has infact made the intersection WORSE than before they started…..

Anyway, here is how NOT to setup a redlight camera installation….
